Serving Fork Wind Chime

I love wind chimes and this vintage serving fork was the perfect base to turn into a wind chime. You can hang this on your deck or out by your pool or use it as a wall hanging as shown here. A fork doesn't always have to be used as a fork, the possibilities are endless!

Rhodochrosite and Radiance

Rhodochrosite is a strong stone that will aid in emotional healing. It is said that it will bring happiness and joy into your life. It is a lovely pink stone and works wonderfully with the Radiance spoon pieces. Radiance was made in 1938 by the Crown Silver Plate Company and still remains one of my all time favorite patterns. This necklace also has Swarovski crystals, daisy spacers and a flower shape toggle. It will look lovely over your favorite sweater or wear it with a suit for a pop of color with a simple pair of silver earrings to complete your outfit.

PLANTATION

This lovely pattern is called Plantation. It was patented in 1948 by Oneida and carries the "1881 Rogers" stamp, it is very rare and expensive when you find it. It has the beautiful cabbage rose and scroll detail. I love it as a bracelet with or without a stone and I think a few necklaces are in order. I am obsessed with this pattern. I was lucky enough to get thirty pieces of this and I'm already running low so as usual I have this on the top of my list for my antique guys to find.

Salt Shaker Snowmen

Ever since I was a little girl I've had an obsession with silverware(as you all know), glass bottles and boxes of all sorts and still do. These snowmen are made from many of the salt and pepper shakers that I've collected through the years. Another recycled item that I love making and a fun little holiday gift to give.

"DISTINCTION"

These beautiful spoons were manufactured in 1951 by Oneida Prestige in the very popular "Distinction" pattern. It is such a stunning design. I only managed to find twelve of these wonderful spoons and wish it was twelve hundred. I'll be on the hunt for more, that's for sure!

"PORTLAND"

This exquisite pattern is called Portland and was made in 1891 by the 1847 Rogers Brothers. I found four of these serving spoons in my mothers china cabinet many years ago, she passed away 22 years ago and it has taken me that long to take these and make myself two bracelets out of them, one for each arm. I have never found this pattern yet in my ever constant search for beautiful silverware, I shall continue my quest to find a never ending supply of "Portland".

DRIFTWOOD

One of my friend Alanna's favorite things to do when she is up on Prince Edward Island is to comb the beach for goodies like this wonderfully shaped piece of driftwood. When she came back from her last trip to the island she brought me two huge shopping bags full of wonderful pieces of wood, all shapes and sizes. I look forward to my time off from shows in January to put together many more of these wind chimes.
